Location:
Somewhere deep in the barren snows of Alaska, cut off from civilization.

Story:
An underground research facility was built some time ago, cut off from any contact of the outside world. Since the researchers were going to be there for a long, long time, they were allowed to invite their families and friends to follow them to this facility. A special residential area was built to cater for these civilians. As the year went on, things seemed to be fine, and a breakthrough was at hand…. That is, of course, something terrible happened and all contact with the top-secret research areas was lost. Soon after, a permanent lockdown was announced, and everyone in the facility was locked in. A few remaining researchers from the lower floor appear all bloodied and on the brink of insanity, to tell the civilians that there is no hope for survival. The civilians, in a state of desperation, decide to search for a way out. Little do they know about the horrors awaiting them.

Details:
This tournament is quite different from the other dA tournaments in the sense that this is not a ladder tournament. Instead of going head to head, the main goal instead is to find a way out of the facility. A special point system will be put together to grade the entries, so this foregoes the need to have a “last-man standing” as the winner.

The contestants will take on the roles of these civilians, who have never been in such a situation or received any form of self-defense training. The contestants can choose to go their separate ways, or work together to find a way out. Certain contestants could choose to kill off the others in order to survive.

Also a layout map of the entire facility will be drawn and available for the contestants to use. For each round, the contestants can choose which area they want to go through, and backtracking is also an option. Details of each area will be listed out for the contestants to use, and to try find the way out.

The monsters in this tournament will be “unseen” at the beginning, but as the rounds progress, their appearances will be revealed. Also note that these monsters cannot be killed, so your only option is to run and hide.

What we’re looking for in this tournament is how you portray your character’s psychological being throughout this entire ordeal.
